Our Little Magical World!
We're very excited to be taking our Little Magical World out and about this March! Come and see us on:

Thursday 26th March at Birkenhead Library (10-12 noon and 1-3 p.m.)
Friday 27th March at Birkenhead Library (10-12 noon)
With lots of fun - exploring stories together through imaginative play. For children aged 0-5 with their parent / carer.
The wheels on the bus go round and round...!
We had great fun on Arriva bus 409 last week, giving out goodie bags, telling stories and singing songs as part of National Story Telling week in February.
As part of our Hungry Little Minds campaign, the ceilings of two very special buses have been covered with things for parents to do with their little ones, turning an everyday activity like a bus ride into an opportunity to chat, play and sing together. Have you seen one yet?
Ben and Clarissa really enjoyed the ride and Clarissa especially loved her goodie bag and book!
Some people hadn't even spotted the activities on the ceiling so don't forget if you hop on an Arriva bus on the Wirral, look up!
A huge thanks to Diane Mitchell & her team from Wirral libraries and Jo Simpson and her staff and volunteers in Seacombe Children Centre, for manning the buses for us.
December saw the launch of our new Pop-Up World, an interactive, mobile play station for parents and children, to be used in our local community. Our first event had a magical theme. We launched at the Little Centre and had a great reception from those who attended.
We used an all-weather gazebo with a range of readily available resources. The gazebo had three themes – Fairies, Witches and Wizards, and Magic. We also had a Story Book Area and an arts and crafts station where children could create their own Spell Books.
We received fantastic feedback from parents and children, and are planning future events.
Good Luck Sophie
Sophie has been an integral part of our team at Foundation Years Trust, forging brilliant relationships with parents and professionals, and adding so much to the team. We are really sorry to see her go, but wish her all the best in her new role as an Early Years Lecturer. Good luck Sophie and keep in touch!
Happy New Year!
The team at FYT had a lovely Christmas meal at the Open Door Centre in Birkenhead, and hope you had a good break. We're looking forward to another exciting year.
